Foto  Master's Photo Booths can work outdoors with some caveats.

The most important thing is to scout/test the location and maybe find a shaded spot with minimum reflections, and of course, set the expectations with your client.

If there is a lot of sunlight or reflections the animations won't look as vivid or even "washed-out", similar to looking at your smartphone screen in direct sunlight. You can try to set the brightness and contrast of the TV display.

The Mirror Me Booth's touchscreen is based on infra-red technology which means that if there is a direct sunlight or if it is very sunny at the venue, the touchscreen might not work properly.

  • You can use Kinect Sensor to operate the Mirror Me Booth using trigger gestures like "Smile to start/Raise hands/person detection"
  • Another option is to use a wireless keyboard and the operator will assist the guests.

Having said that, you will still enjoy a photo booth that takes pictures prints them and sharing them on site.
