Want to present your booth's creation on a secondary monitor? No problem!
In this article, we will show you two ways to use a secondary monitor - a wired monitor and a wireless setup using Chromecast.

Wired Monitor:
In this kind of setup, you will have a monitor connected directly to your computer.
Unless you have two graphics ports (HDMI/DVI/Mini display port) on your computer, you will need an external video\graphics adapter (USB to HDMI adapter video card) and make sure you have an available USB 3.0 port.
Our recommendations: Option #1, Option #2; some computers also have USB-C port, and you can use a USB-C to HDMI adapter.
1. Make sure both your photo booth's monitor and the slideshow dedicated monitor are connected to your computer.
2. Right-click anywhere on your desktop and select Display settings:
3. Select Extend these displays:
4. Identify which display is the mirror and change it to portrait and set "change the size of text, apps and other items" to 100%. Make sure to click the checkbox "set this as main screen".
5. Click on"Advanced display settings", and change the resolution to 1080X1920
Using Chromecast:
What do we need?
- Google Chromecast device.
- External Video Card (USB to HDMI adapter video card - our recommendation: Option #1, Option #2)
- Network (LAN, WiFi or a hotspot).
- External Keyboard
1. Connect to the internet\activate your hotspot.
2. Connect the Chromecast device to the screen you want to display your Slideshow on, and to a power source.
3. Follow your Chromecast device setup instructions and connect it to the internet.
4. (Mini-PC owners can skip to stage #5)
a. Right-click on the battery icon on your bottom toolbar > Power options.
b. Click on "Choose what closing the lid does".
c. Set the "When I close the lid" On battery and Plugged in options to "Do nothing":
5. Right-click anywhere on your desktop and select Display settings:
6. Under Multiple displays, select “Extend these displays”:
7. Open Google Chrome browser > Click on the following button (on the top right corner of your browser > Select “Cast” option:
8. A new menu will open > Select "Cast to":
9. Under "Select source", select "Cast desktop":
10. Select your Chromecast device and select the screen you'd like to present the Slideshow.
(Laptop users - close the computer lid)
11. Open the Slideshow application and your Foto Master Photo Booth software. Using your mouse, drag the Slideshow app to the screen you want to present the Slideshow on.
