Hi Guys,

Reaching the perfect calibration is easy when you understand the underlining principle! This guide will demonstrate how different settings affect the page and inner card padding.

Padding and printer-cutter calibration:

On the Left side of the "Flipbook" tab in the "Settings" menu" you will find padding settings and the visual display on the right side. You can change the different padding settings and see how they affect the visual representation of the page and its cards.

For a step by step calibration instructions please follow this article.

Show Borders: Enable this option to show the card and page borders. Printing a test page with borders will give you a better understanding of where padding needs to be added or reduced.

Print Test Page: Click to print a single test page with the current padding settings for calibration purposes.

Page Padding Right: Add padding to create a bigger white margin on the right side of the page. Try changing these padding settings to see how it affects the visual display. You will notice that the page border is moving alongside the cards.

Page Padding Left: Add padding to create a bigger white margin on the left side of the page. Try changing these padding settings to see how it affects the visual display.

Page Padding Top: Add padding to create a bigger white margin on the top side of the page. Try changing these padding settings to see how it affects the visual display.

Page Padding Bottom: Add padding to create a bigger white margin on the bottom side of the page.

Page Vertical Gap: Use to create a vertical gap. Only used with one pass cutters that support vertical gaps between the cuts.

Page Horizontal Gap: Use to create a horizontal gap. Only used with pass cutters that support horizontal gap between the cuts.

Card Padding Right: Add card padding to set the image size in every card and create an inner white border. Add card padding to the right end of the card to push the image towards the left and leave a white border on the right side of the card.

You will notice that the page border is not moving alongside the cards.

Card Padding Top: Add card padding to set the image size in every card and create an inner white border. Add card padding to the top of the card to push the image towards the bottom and leave a white border on the top side of the card.

Card Padding Bottom: Add card padding to set the image size in every card and create an inner white border. Add card padding to the bottom of the card to push the image towards the top and leave a white border on the bottom side of the card.

Remember! This is a one time only process. It is recommended to take a screenshot of your settings and save them locally on your computer, just in case.
